Johnie Jones, 83

Johnie P. Jones, 83, of Marcellus, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009. Johnie was born in Ball Knob, Ark. on Jan. 1, 1926, the son of William “Willy” and Thelma (Todd) Jones.

Johnie leaves behind his wife, Dorothy J. (Harrison) Jones, whom he married Aug. 26, 1996 at Russ Forest Park, Marcellus.

He is retired from Continental Can and Fonda of Three Rivers.

Johnie has several children, Bill (Jenny) Farley of Oregon, Dorothy Ann (Leroy) Tout, Connie (Mike) Spicketts, Gary Randolph, Carol (Marty) Koviak, Sheila Bradford of Three Rivers.

He has special grandchildren, Mike Tout, Laurie Tout, Bobby Price, Christina Randolph, Mike Spicketts Jr., and his little buddy Joseph “J.J.” Spicketts.

Johnie was preceded in death by his mother and father, and by one sister, Joyce Moody. He has one sister, Edith (Loyal) Burchard of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews; several sisters- and brothers-in-law, Clarence Collison of Ball Knob, Ark., Meredith Wilson, Marilyn Pifer, Darlene (Max) Orcer, Shirley (Dick) Hager, Jackie (Jr.) Fraley, Linda (Earl) Nash.

The funeral service was held at Mater Funeral Home, Marcellus.
