Kline obitSharon Irene (Sowles) Kline, age 54, of Sturgis, passed away Sunday morning, March 30, 2014, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.

She was born Feb. 7, 1960, in Gary, Ind., a daughter of the late Ray and Dorothy (Crowe) Sowles.

Sharon spent the past 20 years in Sturgis, where she was a friendly and familiar face in the community and a beloved friend. Many will remember her from her 10 years working at Century Bank and Trust in Sturgis. She was a graduate of Hobart High School in Hobart, Ind., with the class of 1978.

On Aug. 20, 1999, she married Gary E. Kline in Sturgis.

Sharon was an avid NASCAR fan, her favorite driver being #24 Jeff Gordon. She enjoyed fishing, spoiling her three beagles and spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren, whom she so dearly loved.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband: Gary; two sons, Danny Silich Jr. of Sturgis and Adam Silich of Hobart; a daughter, Jennifer Silich of Dallas; and three grandchildren: Madyson, Lily and Adam Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ray Sowles Jr. and Garry Sowles; and her beloved beagle, Kosmo.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate and remember the life of Sharon I. Kline will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the home of Sarah and Jamey Lehman, 68831 Oak St., Sturgis, Klinger Lake.

The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, is entrusted the arrangements.
