Armed robbery on WMU campus

A warning has been issued to Western Michigan University students following an armed robbery at a campus residence hall.
The Kalamazoo school says in a statement the male student was robbed at gunpoint about 4:40 p.m. Sunday in the third floor hallway of LeFevre Hall.
The Kalamazoo Gazette reports police are seeking two suspects. The school says “extreme caution is urged.” A text alert was sent to students and the school is asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact Western Michigan University Public Safety.
It’s the second armed robbery on the school’s campus in the past three months. Two students were robbed Oct. 29 between the Sindecuse Health Center and Sangren Hall. And Kalamazoo police increased patrols in December after a string of assaults and armed robberies.  (AP)
