Injuries following car hitting house

Two people were treated for injuries after their residence was struck by a car earlier this week, according to Sturgis Police.
Officers were called around 10 a.m. Tuesday to the 200 block of North Prospect Street following a report that a vehicle had collided with a house.
Two men, ages 18 and 22, were inside the residence and found to be in need of medical attention. Meanwhile, the suspect vehicle had fled the scene.
After further investigation, officers discovered there was an altercation between the occupants of the suspect vehicle and the occupants of the residence. The driver of the suspect vehicle, a 31-year-old Sturgis man, was eventually located and taken to the county jail.
