Enrichment Center celebrates grand opening

After years of planning, the $2.6 million Enrichment Center in Sturgis is ready for business following a ceremonial grand opening last week.
Located adjacent to the Doyle Center on the east side of the city, the Enrichment Center was praised Friday by county and municipal dignitaries, Commission on Aging officials and dozens of other guests.
COA executive director Lynn Coursey thanked a number of people for making the building a reality.
She reiterated that the COA will serve all county residents 60 years of age and older, and those married to someone age 60-plus at the location.
Coursey also invited anyone interested in partnering with the center to offer programming to contact her.
The Enrichment Center opens to the general public today.
