Moses Joins Trust Department of Southern Michigan Bank and Trust

John Castle, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Michigan Bank and Trust recently announced the appointment of Matthew S. Moses as First Vice President, Head of Wealth Management for the Trust Department of Southern Michigan Bank and Trust.

Moses received a bachelor of business administration degree from the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University with a Personal Financial Planning/Finance major. In addition, he has earned the distinction of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM.

His comprehensive investment management and estate and financial planning background make him an exceptional fit for the diverse needs of Southern’s Trust clients. After beginning his career as an account manager for Tisch Investment Advisory, Inc., Moses worked as a financial planner for Plante Moran Financial Advisors, senior investment counselor for StanCorp Investment Advisers, and most recently as a financial advisor for Valeo Financial Advisors, Inc.

Moses and his wife, Brooke, also a Sturgis native, return to the area with their three young sons, Benjamin, Will and Ryan.
