Daniel Grace’s high school golfing career can to an end Thursday at the MHSAA Regional in Coldwater at the Coldwater Golf Course. He had an up and down round with stretches of brilliant play, combined with some sloppy play. His score of 87 was fourth best among the 12 individual qualifiers. Paw Paw senior Nick Brausch led the individual qualifiers with 76 and will advance to the state finals.
The three teams advancing to Bedford Valley Golf Club were:
Dewitt 315
Mattawan 325
Coldwater 326
“It has been a pleasure coaching Daniel and I look forward to monitoring his progress as he takes his game to Notre Dame College” said Coach Bob Bales. “With his love of the game and willingness to work, I expect that he will continue to excel”.
The only thing left for the Wildcat golf team will be awards at the high school Tuesday at 6:30.
