Amy Mae Jackson, age 86, of Morley, MI., formerly of Three Rivers, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Fabius Township, MI. on Oct. 30, 1929 the daughter of the late Earl V. and Amy Irene (Pizell) Abrams.

Mrs. Jackson was raised in the Three Rivers area and on June 17th, 1972 was united in marriage to the love of her life Mr. James Richard Jackson.  They soon found their home in Morley, MI., and have been residents there since.  Mrs. Jackson was a member of the New Apostolic Church in Grandville, MI.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by two sons, Denny Ray and Jimmy Jackson, two sisters, Tilly and Ruth, and two brothers, Chuck and Bob Abrams.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of forty-four years, James “Jim” Jackson, of Morley, MI.; two daughters, Dianne Fredericks, of Three Rivers, and Linda (Gary) Thumser, of Big Rapids, MI.; two sons, Douglas (Ruth) Burson, of Portage, MI., and Mark Jackson, of Everett, MI.; two brothers, Herb Abrams, of Three Rivers, and Jack Abrams, of Crawfordsville, IN.; nineteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Heidma officiating.
Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Butterworth Hospital Heart Center. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
