Three Rivers Schools superintendent rated effective

Three Rivers Community Schools Board of Education members last week rated the district’s superintendent “effective” as part of her annual evaluation.
Jean Logan, in her third year as head of the 2,600-student district, was given the rating on a four-step scale ranging from ineffective to highly effective.
Board president Pete Bennett said the rating process used by the board took into account several factors through a system facilitated by evaluation consultant Rod Green. Bennett said the process results in what he feels is a rating more objective and less subjective.
The evaluation concluded that the 51-year-old Logan scored exceptionally well in areas concerning media relations, approachability, labor relations, professional knowledge and performance-evaluation systems.
Logan’s salary is more than $122,000 annually.
