Attempted abduction – TR Police release further details

The Three Rivers Police Department has issued a media release with additional details regarding an attempted abduction and the arrests of two Three Rivers men last week.
According to authorities, a number of law-enforcement agencies were called shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday to an apartment complex in the 300 block of Middle Street in response to an incident involving a potential abduction.
Two Three Rivers men, both 19 years of age, were apprehended by authorities. One of the two men was wanted on a warrant from Colorado Springs, Colo., for homicide.
Meanwhile, the person who was at the center of the reported abduction was interviewed and has been uncooperative with investigators, police said.
The age and gender of the person possibly abducted was not disclosed.
The case has been forwarded to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office for additional review, Three Rivers police said.
