Traffic stop leads to arrest

A traffic stop last week in Three Rivers netted the arrest of a man wanted on a warrant and for drug-related offenses.
Three Rivers police stopped the vehicle Friday for an equipment violation near the intersection of Broadway and Third streets.
Officers became suspicious of a passenger who was not cooperating. He was later found to be wanted on a warrant. Officers also discovered the 28-year-old man to be in possession of narcotics, according to authorities.
The nature of the warrant and the suspect’s community of residence were not stated in the release.
