Three Rivers ends season

The Three Rivers boys basketball team had its season ended Monday night in Allegan. The Wildcats, who picked up the school’s second district title on Saturday night by beating Paw Paw, fell 67-44 to Wayland Union Monday night. The Cats were led in scoring by Jalen Heivilin with 20 points on the night, he was the only Wildcat player in double figures.
Three Rivers got seven points from Terrell Hausmanis, five from Carson Charvat, four from Eric Johnson, three each from Saw Hawkins and Gavin Charvat and two from Max Chapman.
Wayland advances to take on Benton Harbor Wednesday in the regional finals.
