Alma Bontrager 71

Alma W. Bontrager, age 71, of Centreville, passed away Monday morning, June 5, 2017, at her home.
She was born May 5, 1946, in Albion, a daughter of William J. and Lydia Mae (Yoder) Bontrager.
Alma resided in Centreville since 1959, coming from Green Ridge, Mo.
She is survived by a son, Paul (Mary) Bontrager of Centreville; her mother, Lydia Mae Bontrager of Centreville; nine grandchildren,: Marilyn (John) Yoder of Burr Oak, Henry Bontrager of Centreville, Ruth (Chris) Yoder of Burr Oak, Susanna (Alvin) Bontrager of Burr Oak, Rachel Bontrager, Christina Bontrager, Alvin Jay Bontrager, David Bontrager and Matthew Bontrager, all at home; three great-grandsons, Caleb Bontrager, Samuel Yoder and Derek Yoder; brothers and sisters Alvin (Susie) Bontrager of Tippecanoe, Ind., Elizabeth (Eli) Chupp of Nappanee, Ind., Levi (Mary Esther) Bontrager of Centreville, Lydia (Amos) Miller of Sturgis, Wilma Miller of Colon, Joseph (Fannie) Bontrager of Sturgis, Clara Bontrager of Centreville, Dena Bontrager of Centreville, William (Katie Ellen) Bontrager of Centreville and Sylvia (Mervin) Eash of Burr Oak; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Bontrager; a brother-in-law, Wayne Miller; and a sister-in-law, Esther Bontrager.
The family will receive friends beginning after 1 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday at the family home, located at 60222 Lepley Road, Centreville. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the family home. The Home Ministers will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Old Order Amish Cemetery in Centreville.
The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, is entrusted with arrangements.
