Grants approved for White Pigeon projects

The White Pigeon Area Community Foundation recently approved $4,000 in grant awards during its 2017 competitive grant program.

The Adele M. Gray Fund and the Richard and Mary Magee Fund provided grant support to the White Pigeon Downtown Revitalization Association for the Tasty Nut Shop Window Restoration project.

Meanwhile, the Fund for White Pigeon awarded a grant to the St. Joseph County Historical Society to assist with the White Pigeon Prairie U.S. Land Office restoration project.

The White Pigeon Area Community Foundation continues to grow and extend its support for White Pigeon returning more than $140,000 to the community.

The Foundation – a geographic affiliate of the Sturgis Area Community Foundation – holds six funds, all established to support charitable programs and projects in the White Pigeon community.
