Billy Bowman, 79

William “Billy” Bowman, age 79, of Sturgis, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Thurston Woods in Sturgis. He was born in Constantine on January 15, 1939, a son of the late Max and Elsie (Walter) Bowman. Billy worked at Arch Workshop and at Meijer in Three Rivers. He enjoyed taking walks and visiting with his friends and merchants in Sturgis.

Surviving Billy at his brother Doug Bowman of Sturgis, step sister-in-law Gloria Whitmore of Niles, step sister Diane (Tom) Muckel of Constantine, several nieces and nephews, and his caretakers Sonny and Kelly Massey and Vicky Sharp. He was preceded in death by his parents, step mother Elaine Bowman, and step brother Steven Whitmore.

Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 1 to 3PM at Eley Funeral Home, Constantine, with funeral services following at 3PM with Pastor Bob Anderson, Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
