Missing Burr Oak woman found safe

A Burr Oak woman reported missing over the weekend has been found safe. St. Joseph County Sheriff deputies and Michigan State Police troopers said Madyson Vanwormer, 19, was found Tuesday. Restitution ordered in stolen travel trailer case

An Osceloa County man was ordered last week to pay more than $11,000 in restitution for his part in a Cass County situation. Cass County officials said Evart resident Jordan DeWitt, 39, pleaded guilty to receiving, concealing or possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Arrest made following police pursuit

A suspect in a police pursuit was taken into custody last week in Cass County’s Howard Township. Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies were alerted at 2:30 p.m. Friday to a fleeing vehicle heading north from Indiana into Cass County.
