Man injured in Cass County crash

A Mottville man was hospitalized after being involved in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday in Cass County’s Porter Township. Sturgis Department of Public Safety Director Geoff Smith has provided more information related to possible human skeletal remains discovered Tuesday in Sturgis Township. An investigation that was aided by Michigan State Police Crime Lab and Western Michigan University’s Anthropology Unit led to the remains being taken for further examination and carbon dating. Possible human skeletal remains were discovered Tuesday in Sturgis Township. The name of the driver of a car that fled from Three Rivers officers last weekend has been released by authorities. Bond for Brandon Michael Goodfellow, 24, has been set at $50,000 following his arrest Saturday.
