Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency officer Rebecca Burns said new cases of COVID-19 are on the rise. Residence fire in Constantine

Three dogs perished in a structure fire over the weekend in the village of Constantine. Additional VA benefits for toxic-exposed veterans

U.S. Sen. Gary Peters is encouraging former members of the military to consider signing up for VA benefits to toxic-exposed veterans. The benefits are the result of the PACT Act, signed into law in 2022. Here’s an update on work being done on U.S. 131 in St. Joseph and Kalamazoo counties, according to Michigan Department of Transportation’s Christopher Jacobs. Recently finished work includes storm sewer northbound from the Rocky River to Michigan Avenue, and median restoration and permanent signs in the median. MDOT approves 5 year transportation plan

Michigan Department of Transportation has approved a transportation plan covering a five-year period, and a number of local roads are included. The window, from 2024 through 2028, includes reconstruction of portions of M-60, M-86 and the U.S. 131 Business Route in the Three Rivers area.
