Narcotics Unit finds meth production

Narcotics investigators from the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit executed a search warrant Tuesday in Florence Township for suspected methamphetamine. Officers were contacted about possible methamphetamine manufacturing occurring at a residence in the 65000 block of Klinger Lake Road. A 24-year-old Centreville man was cited for two violations after he was involved in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday in White Pigeon Township. Divers from the St. Joseph County Dive/ Rescue Unit joined Michigan State Police Underwater Recovery Unit last Friday to search parts of Noah Lake in Fabius Township for stolen property. Portage police arrested a 35-year-old Three Rivers man last week after he was suspected of committing an armed robbery in Kalamazoo. An autopsy was performed Thursday on the victim of a house fire in Cass County’s Calvin Township. Sheriff Capt.
