Three Rivers Fire Chief Dan Tomlinson has announced he is resigning from the position later this summer. Fire departments battle blaze

Crews from two departments spent Wednesday morning battling a fire at an apartment building at 121 N. Lincoln Ave. in Three Rivers. New firefighters

The Fabius Park Fire Department has brought aboard a pair of new firefighters. Joining the department are Justin Miller and Jake Fassett, giving the department a 23-person roster. Miller and Fassett are set to receive training during the next firefighter’s academy in Kalamazoo County. Read More »

House destroyed by fire

A house in the 100 block of East Congress Street in Sturgis was destroyed by fire early Monday. The Sturgis Fire Department said flames and heavy smoke were observed coming from the front half of the residence upon their arrival. Three Rivers Fire Department Captain Jeff Bloomfield was recognized last week for his efforts in heading the annual Firefighters for Santa program.
