Centreville Police Department names acting chief

A Lansing-area native who joined the Centreville Police Department in April was named its acting chief Monday. Sgt. David Richmond, 30, replaces Luke Delcourt, who resigned Thursday before he was to meet with the village council’s three-person police committee. The Three Rivers Department of Public Services has received confirmation that the Sixth Street asphalt mill and paving project will begin today. Plans call to begin milling around 8:30 this morning. Search warrant leads to arrest

Narcotics investigators from the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit executed a search warrant Friday morning in Three Rivers. Investigators had received information about marijuana trafficking occurring from a residence in the 1000 block of Washington Street.
