Two Sturgis men were arrested earlier this week on drug-related offenses. According to the Sturgis Police Department, officers stopped the suspects, who were on bicycles and committed a minor traffic violation, around 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of South Clay Street. Irrigation wiring stolen

State police troopers are investigating the theft of copper wire from an irrigation system in Park Township. The victim said the incident occurred between Sept. 1 and 15 in an area along Carpenter Road, between Heimbach and Edgerton roads, where electrical wire was cut from two spans of a nearby irrigation pivot.
