Woman seriously injured in crash

A Dowagiac woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Cass County’s Wayne Township. Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies were called at 11:40 a.m. to Dewey Lake Road, near Roth Road. Theft investigated by police

State police troopers are investigating the theft of a snow plow from a location in Branch County’s Coldwater Township. The incident was reported at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of East Chicago Road. Authorities said the theft of the Boss DXT plow occurred in a parking lot between 1 p.m. June 30 and 7 a.m. July 2.

Michigan regulators have significantly expanded the list of conditions approved for treatment by medical marijuana. Jones man seriously injured in LP tank explosion

A Jones man was seriously injured Sunday morning while doing maintenance at Bair Lake Bible Camp, located just south of Jones.
