Police search for suspect in break-ins

Police are looking for a person who broke into four businesses late Monday and early Tuesday in Sturgis. Police said a man forced his way into businesses on South Centerville and East Chicago roads. The suspect is believed to be driving an early- to mid-2000, dark-colored minivan.

Teenager injured in crash

An Indiana teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident this week in Nottawa Township. Sheriff’s officials said the 17-year-old driver from Osceola, Ind., appeared to have suffered a medical condition while driving at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday.
