ARF Cutest Pet Contest names winners

The Animal Rescue Fund of St. Joseph County has announced the winners of it Cutest Pet contest. The cat named Li’l Kitty won first place and is a member of the Babcock family of Three Rivers. Deputies from the St Joseph County Sheriff’s Office last week investigated the larceny of a motor vehicle in Florence Township. A 2000 Polaris Sportsman 4-by-4 was stolen between Sept. 22 and 24 from a residence in the 65000 block of Constantine Road. Sturgis man injured in motorcycle accident

A 57-year-old Sturgis man suffered minor injuries after he was involved in a motorcycle accident Sunday in Sherman Township. St. Joseph County Sheriff’s officials said the man was driving east on Featherstone Road when a vehicle attempted to turn south onto North Centerville Road and did not see him. White Pigeon receives 5 new buses

Officials from White Pigeon Community Schools said the district recently took delivery of five new buses.  Three Rivers police responded to a car-bicycle accident shortly after 11 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Broadway and Fourth streets. Two Three Rivers men allegedly involved in the theft of equipment from Corey Lake Orchards last week were taken into custody after they initially eluded police.
