County commissioners fill vacancies

February 17, 2010 by WLKM

The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners has put its stamp of approval on revised bylaws for the St. Joseph County Commission on Aging.

The move came during the board’s meeting on Tuesday (February 16th).

A significant change pertains to the filling of vacancies, which was changed recently by the Board of Commissioners.

The revised bylaws also utilize the words “older adults” in place of “aging persons.”

In other business, the board appointed four persons to the St. Joseph County Community Mental Health Services Board – Veronica Atkins and Dori Leo-Baranski of Sturgis and Rebecca Black and Gaylene Adams of Three Rivers.
