MDOT Open House In Centreville
December 7, 2011 by WLKM
The Michigan Department of Transportation is staging an open house Thursday with a focus centering on a plan to add a left-turn lane on M-86 from Nottawa Road west to Shimmel Road.
The impending $425,000 project includes resurfacing the three-mile stretch of M-86 and placement of permanent signs and pavement markings. MDOT officials said the new traffic configuration involving the left-turn lane will improve traffic flow and safety.
The open house regarding the project, slated to take place in 2013, will run 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Centreville Village Hall.
