Elaine Groebner, 79

Elaine A. Groebner, age 79, of Jones, passed away at Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at the Bowman House in Three RIvers. She was born in Elgin, IL on October 11, 1932,  a daughter of Paul and Elona (Weise) Knuth. Elaine graduated from Dundee High School in 1950. One June 9, 1951 she married Henry Groebner in Dundee, IL. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1999. Elaine was a homemaker, and she enjoyed taking care of her home and family.
Surviving Elaine are her daughter Doreen (Ed) Wagner, Jones, sons Dennis Groebner, Genoa, IL, Mark (Barbara) Groebner, Kingston, IL, grandchildren Tanya, Sharon, Vernon, Amber, Austin, Mackenzie, Brandon, and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Paul Knuth and twin sister Lorraine VanThournout.
Relatives and friends will be received Friday from   12 – 2 pm at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine where Religious Services will follow at 2 pm. Pastor Dennis Smith of Messiah Lutheran Church, Constantine, will officiate. Interment will be at Mottville Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice , 4341 S.
