Four vehicle crash

The Michigan State Police investigated a four vehicle crash that occurred on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 1:50 pm. A pickup truck being driven by Todd Marks 50 of Jones, was stopped waiting to make a left turn from US 131 onto River Heights Rd. A second vehicle traveling south being driven by Lorren Springer 17 of White Pigeon stopped behind the truck. A third vehicle being driven by Robert Herrick 53 of Jones was not able to stop prior to crashing into the second vehicle. That in turn made the second car hit the truck. Then a fourth vehicle being driven by Bradley Evans 22 of White Pigeon, hit vehicle 3 causing an additional chain reaction crash with vehicles hitting each other again. All drivers received minor injuries, all refused treatment except for Springer who was transported to Three Rivers Emergency Room. She was treated for minor injuries, then later released. According to the drivers and witnesses there was irrigation spraying across the highway which played a factor in this crash.
