George A. Gilchrist Jr., 65, of Kalamazoo, went to be with his Lord Thursday, June 13, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ellen; siblings, Brenda and Terry Dennis of Three Rivers and Judy and John Mohney of Oregon; mother-in-law, Eleanor Glupker of Zeeland; brothers-in-law, Philip and Karen Glupker of Byron Center, Catherine and David Wagner of Silverwood, Joel and Diana Glupker of Charleston, Timothy and Karen Glupker of Zeeland; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Madge Gilchrist; his father-in-law, Gerald Glupker; and his brother-in-law, Kenneth Glupker. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22 at Calvary Bible Church, 855 S. Drake Rd., Kalamazoo. An on-line registry is available at www.avinkcremation.com.
