August 1, 2013 by Administrator

ChevyHi, my name is Chevy and this week I am the Pet of the Week. I am a female domestic long hair and am about 12 weeks old. I am black and white and my white whiskers look very cute against my little black face. Being a kitten I like to play and I like people. Please come in and see me. My Docket # 11524, at the St. Joseph County Animal Control Shelter located at 652 E. Main St., Centreville, MI. Animal Control is open Monday – Friday, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The first Saturday of each month AC is open for adoptions from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon. Now through August, Animal Control is open until 7:00 pm on Wednesdays for adoptions. Their phone number is 269-467-6475. Up-Cycled Pets needs reliable foster homes so some pets can leave the shelter and learn more about living in a safe home before adoption. Go to www.upcycledpets.com for more information about how to help this group. Please visit the Animal Rescue Fund website at www.arfund.org to see more adoptable pets. ARF has now agreed to pay for the spay/neuter of an adopted Pet of the Week, at the Humane Society in Kalamazoo. If the owner wants to go to a local vet, the same amount will be given to that vet.
