Approximately 100 people gathered in downtown Three Rivers Sunday to participate in a flash mob-style video shoot, led by the city’s Downtown Development Authority.
DDA director Christy Trammell said the authority has applied to participate in the Select Level of the Michigan Main Street Program.
Adhering to the theme, “T.R. is All in this Together,” representatives from various organizations, Three Rivers Community Schools’ students, business people and citizens gathered on Main Street for the afternoon filming.
Three Rivers is one of four communities competing to proceed to the next level of the MMSP. Trammell said those accepted to the Select Level will be making a five-year agreement to commit to receive the support and training the program has to offer.
Sunday’s video shoot will be played Feb. 5 as part of the DDA’s presentation in Lansing.
