David Boring, 39

Boring orbitDavid Aaron Boring, age 39, of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born July 11, 1974, in Adrian, a son of Marshall “Sonny” and Janice (Riley) Boring.

David lived in Howe, Ind., until age 9 and then moved to Sturgis, where he graduated high school with the class of 1993. He had resided in Three Rivers for the past 14 years.

He was a hard-worker with his workplaces, including PKG in Sturgis, Lund/Delta III in Howe and for the Target Distribution Center in Galesburg for 11 years. He was currently working for American Axle in Three Rivers.

David enjoyed mountain biking, going anywhere “Up North,” spending time with his children, volunteering at their schools and reading to them. He was a very personable person who liked and was liked by everybody he knew.

On July 8, 2000, he married Angelina Glasgow in Sturgis. She survives, along with their two young children, Malea and Keagan Boring; two brothers, Paul (Lynne) Boring of Oak Grove, Mo., and Daniel (Christie) Boring of Sturgis; a sister, Andrea (Chuck) Flowers of Gilbert, Ariz.; his mother, Janice E. Boring of Sturgis; several nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, David and Christine Glasgow of Sturgis; five sisters-in-law, Katrina Glasgow of Elkhart, Ind., Selena (Scott) Cressman of Kalamazoo, Anna Glasgow of Three Rivers, and Kelly Glasgow and Lily Glasgow, both of Sturgis; a brother-in-law, Gerald Glasgow of Three Rivers;; and several lifelong friends, including Joe Geibe, Joshua Sampson and Jason Kirtley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall “Sonny” Boring, in April 2000.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Road, Sturgis.

Services celebrating the life of David A. Boring will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jay Bailey, Three Rivers Bible Church, officiating.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family to help with the children’s future educational needs. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
