Leslie Ware, 62, Burr Oak, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at her home. She was born in Three Rivers on May 29, 1952, a daughter of Forrest and Maxine (Breece) Schmidtendorff. Leslie graduated from Constantine High School in 1969. On September 14, 1969 she married David Ware at Porter Baptist Church. Leslie enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, crochet and especially her flower garden. She was a 4-H leader in both Burr Oak and Constantine. Leslie was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family.
Leslie is survived by her father, husband, daughters, Stacy Sult, Burr Oak; Shawn (Brett) Clemens, Burr Oak; Cassie (Josh) Wiard, Burr Oak; Nichole (James) Vrobel, Mendon; brothers, Michael (Linda) Schmidtendorff, Pompeii, Dale (Jaci) Schmidtendorff, Island Lake, grandchildren Bryce Clemens, Amber Reaper, Niya Clemens, Tyler Reaper, Kara Reaper, Cole-Anna Clemens, Sydnee Wiard, Connor Clemens, Ethan Wiard, Landon Vrobel and Ashton Vrobel, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, and brother David Schmidtendorff.
Relatives and friends will be received Sunday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m.. at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Services will be held at Porter Baptist Church, Constantine, at 11:00 A.M. on Monday August 18, with Chaplain Glenn Russell officiating. Interment will be at Constantine Township Cemetery.
