Betty L. Duncan, 87, of Metamora, Ill. and formerly of Three Rivers, died at 12:40 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at Snyder Village in Metamora, Ill.
Born on Nov. 14, 1926 in Salem, Ohio, to William and Eva Schafer Coleman, she married Wesley C. Duncan on June 4, 1946 in Urbana, Ohio.
Surviving are her husband, Wesley of Metamora, Ill.; one daughter, Jennifer (Larry) Aspin of Peoria, Ill.; and one son, Dennis (Kathy) Duncan of Three Rivers; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Betty and her husband, Wesley, were the owners and operators of Wesley’s Restaurant in Three Rivers for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, flowers, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife and caregiver to Wesley.
Cremation Rites will be accorded and inurnment will be at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Three Rivers. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, Ill. is assisting the family with arrangements.
