Audrey Doe, 78

Audrey F. Doe, 78, of White Pigeon, died Friday, March 13, 2015, at Sturgis Hospital following an extended illness. Shewas born June 18, 1936, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Owen and Vivian (Kohn) Eager. She had an associate’s degree in accounting from Kellogg Community College and was employed by Clark Equipment in Battle Creek and Chicago for more than 25 years, retiring in 1995. She also sold real estate.

She was amember of the LakeWahbememe Association and enjoyed reading and sewing. She was a resident of White Pigeon for 10 years, coming from Holton, Mich. She spent most of her life in Battle Creek.

On Jan. 2, 1980, she married Robert E. Doe in LaPorte, Ind. He survives, along with two daughters, Bonnie (Frank) Hendrickson of Battle Creek and Adele Kelley of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sons, Richard Henderson of Sturgis and Andrew(Lola) Henderson of Battle Creek; stepdaughter, Pamela (Bill) Alberndine of Supula, Okla.; stepson, Brian (Sandra) Doe of Owasso, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three sisters, Gladys Cole and Gale Weaver of Kalamazoo and Alberta Smith of Battle Creek; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandra Jones; brother, Joe Kohn; and stepfather, Jack Jasperson.

Cremation has been conducted and therewill be a memorial service at a later date.

Donations may be directed to the American Lung Association. Envelopes are available at the Farrand Funeral Home of White Pigeon which is handling the arrangements.
