Injuries in Three Rivers crash

Three people were taken to Three Rivers Health following a three-vehicle crash caused by a suspected drugged driver Tuesday morning in Three Rivers.

The person responsible for the incident, which took place at the intersection of South Main and Liberty streets, faces charges of driving under the influence of drugs and child endangerment, according to Three Rivers police.

Investigators said two vehicles on South Main Street were stopped, as the first vehicle was waiting for traffic to clear before turning left onto Liberty Street.

The alleged drugged driver rear-ended the second stopped car, which was pushed into the rear of the first car. A woman and her 12-year-old son in the second car were treated at Three Rivers Health for minor injuries.

A 7-year-old boy in the car of the alleged drugged driver was also taken to Three Rivers Health, according to police. The man, whose name, age and community of residence were not released by police, was also charged with driving with a suspended license.
