Three Rivers considers expanding marijuana ordinance

Three Rivers city commissioners are considering expanding the city’s marijuana ordinance to include cannabis lounges. WOOD-TV 8 said if the proposal passes, the new ordinance will also allow lounges in the central business district, which includes downtown. Michigan man cleared of killing 2 hunters to get $1 million for wrongful convictions

The state of Michigan has agreed to pay $1.03 million to a man who spent nearly 21 years in prison for the deaths of two hunters before the convictions were thrown out in February. Several suspects are expected to face charges from a drug-related incident in Constantine Township. Sturgis Director of Public Safety Ryan Banaszak said the agency is in the early stages of investigating attempts to break into three licensed marijuana locations in Sturgis over the weekend.
