Sturgis “Bucket Challenge” raises money for United Way

Deputies from the St Joseph County Sheriff’s Department investigated an accidental shooting last week in Leonidas Township. Sturgis police officer involved in one car crash

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department is conducting an investigation into a one-car crash involving an off-duty Sturgis police officer. Investigators are awaiting toxicology reports before seeking charges against the officer. Smoke detector giveaway surpasses last year’s event

ServPro of St. Joseph and Cass counties earlier this month conducted its second annual Smoke Detector giveaway, joining up with the Three Rivers Fire Department as part of the promotion. Bond set for Sturgis woman accused of an alleged stabbing

Bond for a Sturgis woman accused of allegedly stabbing her sister earlier this week has been set at $1 million.
