A 24-year-old Constantine man was arrested after he led police on a pursuit last weekend. State police attempted to stop a car at 6:40 p.m. Saturday on Featherstone Road, near Constantine Road. Two Indiana men are in the Elkhart County Jail awaiting extradition to Michigan after leading Michigan State Police on a high-speed chase last weekend. A Yamaha four-wheeler was stolen last week from a residence in Fabius Township. Pedestrian injured in White Pigeon crash

A White Pigeon man was injured Tuesday morning in a car/pedestrian accident. County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the intersection of US-131 and US-12 shortly before 6am. The pedestrian was identified as 51-year-old Lonnie Bingaman. The car, driven by Matthew Thomas, 27, of White Pigeon, was westbound on US-12. The incident remains under investigation.
