Sheriff investigating B&E

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a breaking-and-entering incident that occurred recently in Nottawa Township. According to a department media release, someone entered an unlocked outbuilding between Tuesday and Thursday last week in the 60000 block of Lennon Street. A chainsaw and golf bag containing a full set of clubs and golf-related accessories were stolen.

Items stolen from shed

A chain saw, trimmer and riding mower were stolen recently from a shed in Park Township. Sheriff’s deputies said the victim indicated the incident occurred between May 28 and June 3 in the 20000 block of M-60. The building’s doors were shut but not locked.

State police are investigating a breaking-and-entering incident that occurred last week at a business in Sturgis Township. Between June 8 and June 9, someone broke into a storage trailer at Hamilton Harley Davidson.
