Sturgis Public Schools’ Board of Education has detailed the successful sale of its 2015 refunding bonds, Series A, in the amount of about $25.3 million and 2015 refunding bonds, Series B, for about $10.6 million. Four St. Joseph County schools show increase in student enrollment

Four of the nine school districts in St. Joseph County saw an increase in student enrollment this fall compared to a year ago. The unofficial headcount conducted two weeks ago showed Centreville, Sturgis, Three Rivers and White Pigeon all had gains in their enrollment. A 15-year-old student has been charged with arson following an incident last week at Sturgis High School.
