The Three Rivers golf team participated in a double jamboree at Lake Doster Golf Club, which is the home course for both Plainwell and Otsego. Former Detroit Tigers broadcaster Paul Carey dies at 88

Former longtime Detroit Tigers broadcaster Paul Carey has died. He was 88. Nancy Carey says her husband died Tuesday at their home in the Detroit suburb of Rochester and had chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and heart disease. Mendon names new football coach

A month after John Schwartz retired as coach of Mendon High School’s football team, his successor was named Monday night. Members of the Mendon Community Schools Board of Education approved 2006 graduate Bobby Kretschman as the Hornets’ head football coach.
