Three murder suspects in jail

Three people charged in the murder of a truck driver last week remain in the St. Joseph County Jail. They were arrested Friday by the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department. Tentative agreements were reached Tuesday with nine county unions. The St. Joseph County board of Commissioners approved the three-year proposals, which had already been ratified by the respective unions. Mendon Schools receive donation for robotics teams

A donation from renewable energy company Geronimo Energy is helping launch Mendon Community Schools’ 2018 robotics teams. The company announced last week its donation of $1,000 to the Mendon Foundation, which will help fund two robotics teams for Mendon Middle School. An Indiana man is being sought by Sturgis Police after he intentionally crashed his car into his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle this week.
