Howard Comadoll, age 85, of Three Rivers, passed away on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 at Heartland Health Care Center following a brief illness. He was born on Oct. 15, 1923 in Kalamazoo, MI. the son of Peter and Ida (Winn) Comadoll.
Mr. Comadoll served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He was united in marriage to his wife, Jean Ernestine (Weiandt) Comadoll on Dec. 13, 1942 in Marcellus, MI. Howard was employed as a supervisor for Michigan Power Co. and retired after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Center Park United Methodist Church and also the American Legion Hice-Shutes Post #170.
Mr. Comadoll was preceded in death by his four brothers and three sisters, and one son, Robert Comadoll.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Jean E. Comadoll, of Three Rivers; daughter, Mary Jean (Hal) Forward, of Climax, MI.; son, James Howard Comadoll, Three Rivers; MI.; three grandchildren, Sean, Kevin, and Mark Forward; six great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Howard’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 at Center Park United Methodist Church, with Rev. Lyne Stall-Lipps officiating.
Interment will be held in Center Park Cemetery.
