Ronald Love, age 65, of Sturgis, Mich., passed away Nov. 20, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
He was born Nov. 5, 1946, in Jackson, Mich., a son to the late Herbert and Agnes (Royer) Love.
On Oct. 26, 1968, in Sturgis, he married Dorothy Bronstetter. This marriage ended in divorce.
Ron has been a resident of Sturgis for 40 plus years and has been employed by Nissley Disposal most of that time. He enjoyed watching baseball and in his younger years enjoyed bowling.
Surviving are one son, Craig (Melissa) Love of Bronson, Mich.; a daughter, Rhonda Sizemore of Venedocia, Ohio; five grandchildren, Ciera and McGwire Love, Walter Tanner Jr., Sara and Chad Sizemore; one sister, Jacque (John) Diehl of Orland, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Hackman Family Funeral Home – Rosenberg Chapel, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091.
Services celebrating the life of Ronald Love will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home with The Rev. Cory Weatherton, Pleasant Hill Missionary Church, officiating.
Graveside services and interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Indiana.
