K-WINGS TO MEET STINGRAYS IN THE CONFERENCE SEMI-FINALS

The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL, two-time defending North Division Champions, reigning Eastern Conference Champions and National Hockey League affiliate to the Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils and American Hockey League’s Albany Devils, announce the times and dates of 2012 Kelly Cup Playoff Eastern Conference Semi-Final match-up against the South Carolina Stingrays.

The K-Wings and Stingrays will square off in a best-of-seven series that will have a 2-3-2 format. The series will commence Friday, April 13th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off at Wings Stadium. Game two of the series will occur at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14th also at Wings Stadium.

The next three games are slated for the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina starting on Wednesday, April 18th. Game four will be played on Friday, April 20th and game five, if necessary, will occur on Saturday, April 21st. All face-offs from South Carolina will commence at 7:05 p.m.

The final two games of the best-of-seven series, if necessary, will take place at the Wings Stadium on Tuesday, April 24th and Wednesday, April 25th. Face-offs for the game six and seven will be at 7 p.m.

Friday, April 20th @ South Carolina 7:05 PM (Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, Game Four)

*Saturday, April 21st @ South Carolina 7:05 PM (Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, Game Five)

*Tuesday, April 24th Vs South Carolina 7:00 PM (Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, Game Six)

*Wednesday, April 25th Vs South Carolina 7:00 PM (Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, Game Seven)

During the regular season, the K-Wings went 2-1-0-1 versus the Stingrays. This series will be the first playoff encounters between the teams.
