A two-vehicle accident last week in Mendon Township left four people with minor injuries.
Officers from St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department were called at 9 p.m. Friday to the intersection of Silver Street and M-60.
A northbound vehicle driven by George Labonte, 79, of Mendon, pulled in front an eastbound SUV driven by Spencer Ford, 29, also of Mendon.
Labonte and a female passenger sustained minor injuries. A female passenger and a 2-year-old child in Ford’s vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Deputies are looking into whether the lack of headlight use was a factor in the crash, as it occurred at dusk.
