School officials in Colon are asking prospective volunteers to consider lending a hand during the upcoming annual Magi Pride Days.
The event is dedicated to helping spruce up school buildings and grounds for the start of the academic year. This year’s two-day Magi Pride Days are 3 to 8 p.m. Aug. 13 and 14.
Organized by Paige Smolarz, the sprucing-up will be under the direction of buildings and grounds coordinator Barry Parrish.
Event organizers said prospective participants are encouraged to come with or without tools.
