Local man wins lottery instant game

An anonymous St. Joseph County man is now $100,000 richer after winning the Michigan Lottery’s Bonus Ball Bingo instant game recently.
The man chose to remain anonymous, according to a press release from the Michigan State Lottery. The ticket was purchased at the Centreville Shell gas station, located at 201 E. Main St.
Originally, the man thought he had won just $20, but later realized he had four corners covered, so assumed he had won $100.
He was just a little off on the total prize money.
The winner and his wife went to Lottery headquarters in Lansing to claim the prize. He said the two plan to pay some bills and take a trip out West.
